Portable Electrospinning
Nanomedic developed the first and only commercialized portable electrospinning device. The Spincare Wound Care System uses this device to apply a customized, nanofibrous, temporary skin-like layer in one application. The layer resembles body tissue and supports healing.
Electrospinning uses electrostatic forces to make very fine fibers that can deliver wound therapies.
Research & Technology
Research is central to the company. Our teams run clinical trials at European and Israeli hospitals, focusing on burns, chronic wounds and dermatological wounds, and work with physicians and key opinion leaders to change current wound care practice.
Spincare Technology
The electrospun matrix is a platform for drug delivery and slow release, with possible uses in aesthetics and cosmetics. Future versions may include antibacterial agents, collagen, adhesives, or embedded human cells for severe wounds.
