About Nanomedic
Nanomedic Technologies Ltd. is a bio-medical therapeutics technology company specializing in the development and manufacturing of its innovative Spincare System platform for advanced wound treatment.
Founded in 2018 as a spinoff of Nicast, a pioneer in electrospinning technology, Nanomedic concentrates on its unique Portable Electrospinning technology platform, the Spincare system.
The company, situated in the heart of a renowned microenvironment of innovative companies, has set a goal to revolutionize wound care treatment, envisioning the ultimate solution of 3D printing artificial skin directly on patients’ wounds.
The Spincare system was first introduced to the market in Q3 2020 and is now distributed and sold in more than 40 countries across five continents.
How portable electrospinning works
- 1
A sterile polymer solution
A single-use ampoule of proprietary polymer solution is loaded into the handheld device.
- 2
An electrostatic field draws the fibres
Electrostatic forces pull the solution into fibres a few hundred nanometres thick, without the device touching the patient.
- 3
The matrix forms on the wound
The fibres settle into a transparent, breathable skin-like layer that conforms to the wound and needs no fixation.

The Spincare System
A handheld, battery-powered device that prints a temporary skin substitute directly onto superficial and partial-thickness wounds, in a single application and without contact.
- Fully personalized and tailored to patient condition, wound size and geometry (makes hard, easy)
- Facilitates proliferation and migration of cells
- Excellent skin quality and scarring results reported
- Reduces risk of infection
